Samsung has announced the Exynos 5 Octa 5430 SoC

Samsung has announced the Exynos 5 Octa 5430 SoC, its the first Samsung chip to use the 20nm HKMG process technology. 

The new chipset is also the first chipset for any smartphone manufacturer to be based on the 20nm process. The new chipset is based on ARM big.LITTLE technology and features Heterogeneous Multi-Processing, which makes it able to run on Eight cores at a time to produce peak performance.
