HTC Nexus 9 expected to launch in Q3

HTC has long been rumored to be working on a new tablet under the Nexus brand, and it’s expected to arrive with top-notch hardware later this year. We’ve yet to hear officially from Google or HTC about its existence, but the rumor mill keeps on revealing more and more information about the alleged tablet as the time draws closer.
Recently, in a legal document related to a patent lawsuit against Qualcomm and Samsung, it was revealed that Tegra K1 SoC is being used by several manufacturers, not just in smartphones, but in a wide rage of products, including the HTC Nexus 9. The document clears up a few things. First, the Nexus 9 will be made by HTC, with Tegra K1 SoC for processing power. Second, it mentioned that HTC Nexus 9 is expected to see the light of the day in the third quarter, which as we know is about to end in the next few weeks.

HTC has scheduled an event on October 8th in New York City captioned “Double Exposure.” It’s unclear what we’re going to see at there, but let’s just keep the purported HTC Nexus 9 on the charts since there’s a possibly it may see daylight then.
The alleged HTC Nexus 9 is said to come with a 8.9-inch 2048-by-1440 display, 4GB of RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera for photos and videos, and Android KitKat.
