Google bringing kid-oriented services soon
Younger audiences are starting to become much more technology literate. Kids are using tablets before they even learn how to read, and Google wants to make sure they are capitalizing on this growing market. A new report from USA Today claims the search giant is getting ready to cater to children in a better way.
Google is said to launch kid-friendly versions of its products and services soon. The first in line would be Google Search, YouTube and Chrome, as they are the most popular Google services around. These would be safe for kids, and they would allow for some parental controls.
Opinion: Children are definitely a growing market, and anyone who has ever done a search on Google or YouTube will know that a lot of content isn’t exactly suit for young ones. I can see this becoming a series of powerful tools for many of our little ones.
